Jie Chen, OMD, Lic. Acup.
Jie Chen graduated from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese medicine of Guangzhou China with a medical degree in 1987. She had been practiced in major hospital in China since graduation and she had been an assistant professor in Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese medicine until 1991.
She came to the United States in 1991 and received her master degree in Human Nutrition in University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
She holds a National Acupuncture Diplomat and a Chinese Herb Diplomat of NCCOAM. She has been licensed in Maryland state and Washington DC to practice acupuncture and has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 1995. She has been teaching acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 1997 in various acupuncture schools in Maryland. Currently, she is a clinical supervisor for Chinese Herbology program of Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laural, Maryland.
